Makassar, May 2026 — Blumontana, an Alternative Rock band from Makassar formed in mid-2020, returns with their latest release, “All I Need.” The band currently consists of Fathana (vocals), Jack and Fauzan (guitars), Faiz (bass), and Achand (drums). This new single also marks a new chapter for Blumontana following several lineup changes and challenges over the past few years.
The last two years have been a dynamic journey for the band. Agung, who previously played drums, had to focus on completing his studies in Bandung, while Ronaldo chose to pursue his career in Slovakia. Agung has now become active with the band again, and the vacant guitar position has been filled by Fauzan Arundaya. With renewed energy and determination, Blumontana has continued moving forward and finally completed one of the projects that had been postponed since 2025.
“All I Need” was originally intended to be part of an EP, but as the creative process evolved, the song developed into something different. With a heavier and more emotional character, the track blends powerful guitar distortion with deep melancholic undertones. Lyrically, “All I Need” explores the inner struggle of someone caught between the desire to hold on and the courage to let go, while learning to accept that not everything can be held onto forever.
Through this song, Blumontana invites listeners to immerse themselves in feelings of longing, regret, self-reflection, and ultimately the process of accepting separation as a natural part of life’s journey. The line, “All I need is just to let the past away,” serves as the song’s central message—an honest acknowledgment that moving forward often requires the courage to make peace with what has already passed. Toward the end, “All I Need” offers a glimpse of hope through the desire to begin something new without remaining trapped by the shadows of the past.
More than just a new single, “All I Need” represents a new level of maturity for Blumontana. Through bolder musical exploration, stronger contrasts in dynamics, and a more open and emotionally driven songwriting approach, the band reveals a more mature direction in their artistic journey.
“All I Need” is now available on Blumontana’s YouTube channel and Bandcamp page, while its release on all major digital streaming platforms is scheduled for June 26, 2026.
